Situated in the Tonkin Golf, Halong bay is one of the world's natural wonders - a bay with more than 3,000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculpted into fantastic shapes.
The best way to appreciate this magical scene is from a boat, cruising between these karst cliffs, which loom like fairy-tale castles, complete with rocky spires and hidden caves. The bay is dotted with tiny islands, pristine sandbanks on the turquoise water that provide an excellent backdrop for swimming or just enjoying the boat deck. Overnight on a junk boat in this magical landscape gives you an experience of a lifetime.
Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (L, D)
8.30 am pick up you at your hotel in Hanoi. Travel to Ha Long city for about 3 hours drive. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. An afternoon cruise on a boat in the crystalline emerald green water of Ha Long bay, among thousands of spectacular limestone islets and discover Surprising Cave. The boat stops at an ideal location for Sea Kayaking as we paddle through a maze of islets amid dramatic natural scenery. With the kayaking equipment, you are able to maximize on speed and maneuverability as we paddle through the open sea and explore the many hidden lagoons and stalagmite caves that are difficult to access by any other means. Overnight on boat in Ha Long bay.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
In the morning, one more kayaking around the stunning Ha Long bay, enjoying Sunrise before returning to the junk. Cruising to Ha Long harbor for lunch. In the afternoon come back Hanoi with crossing Dong Trieu Ceramic Village or Phu Lang Ceramic Village (optional). Arrive in Hanoi by 17.00 pm.
